You never think it's going to happen to you.
Last week I wrote a fic called Tears Like Rain, a Doctor Who fic that was in response to a prompt on comment_ficby trinityday. Nothing spectacular, just a response to a prompt.
Today as I logged on to LJ, I noticed a reply on one of my fics by trinityday. In it she asked if I posted on FF.net as Ben1234. (my penname there is juliet3162000 and I haven't posted any new stuff on the site in at least a good year) Well I clicked on it and imagine to my surprise one of his stories was mine, word for word. He didn't even bother to change the title. I reported the plagerism and then wrote him a nice little review, stating that he had been reported for the plagerism. He's since taken the story down but I made screencaps before informing him that I reported him:
As it's turning out, he's also plagerized other LJ users. He has since taken all of his stories down.
