After making sure that every last Gryffindor had been herded out of the dorm, Ashe hurried them all down the stairs from the tower and down to the Great Hall. She was sure none of them had gotten away from her.

Once in the Great Hall, she stationed herself at one of the secret doors and prepared herself for an extremely long night.

Ashe glanced over as one of her students, Tidus, walked over to her and she gave him a curt nod before letting her gaze rest back on the rest of the room.

"Just doing a little watching," she answered, glancing at the broom he carried. "Hoping to get in a late practice?"

Larxene's interest had been piqued enough by the going ons that for once she decided to actually do her job as Prefect. She wasn't nearly as ostentatious about it as Seifer was, however, which was probably why he didn't notice her. She simply gave a sweet smile to every student she came across and asked them politely to continue on to the Great Hall.

Needless to say, she had half of the Slytherin population terrorised in ten seconds flat.

She took up a position against the wall, enjoying the chaos in the Hall. "Touchy, touchy," she murmured to Seifer as he raged past her.

Seifer turned back to her. Without saying anything to her, he let his eyes sink into her, electric with anger.

Larxene smirked, pushing herself off the wall. "My, my, we are a tad upset." She might have circled him, but she had been holding back on the necessary movements as of late - her bones still shrieked at her when she turned around too fast.

Come over here to watch him be paranoid and very wrong impassive_eyes March 28 2009, 19:53:26 UTC
Sasuke sat on a pillow, arms wrapped around his knees to avoid bumping into anyone around him, and worried. Sadako (who'd been smuggled down the front of his T-shirt) squirmed and mewed at him in what seemed like kitty concern.

Every few seconds or so, Sasuke whipped around to glance in a direction where he thought he heard some noise that didn't belong.

"It's got to be him..." he muttered, trying not to hyperventilate. His grip on his wand was white-knuckled.

<3? this okay? ghostofalawyer March 28 2009, 19:59:31 UTC
Mia didn't like what was going on. It was making her nervous, though she was worried about the students, not herself. After all, she was a ghost. What more could be done to her?

However, she was floating around the edge, making sure no one was upset or anything, so when she noticed someone curled up looking really upset, she floated over and knelt down close by.

"Are you all right?"

Sasuke's hair might have been standing on end more than usual, the way he jumped.

"Aah! Oh..." He unconsciously rubbed his shoulder, a nervous habit. "S-sorry. I'm just--I'm fine."

He took another deep breath in the vain hope it might calm him down. "Do they--Have they found out who--what's going on?"

Mia understood the fear she could feel throughout the Great Hall and as she moved to sit, or rather float just above the floor, she tried her best to emanate a soothing atmosphere around her.

"It's all right," she murmured, turning her gaze away from the boy so he wouldn't feel too pressured by her gaze. "They haven't yet, but I'm sure they'll catch him by morning. Do you need anything?"

She smiled warmly over at him for a moment before turning back to glancing around the Great Hall. "Oh, I'm sure you've seen me around before, but just to be sure: I'm Mia Fey, the Ravenclaw House Ghost."

Iroh immediately stationed himself at one of the doors. No one could get by him as he darted eyes back and forth for anything out of the blue. His stance was staunch and militaristic. It seems like my previous line of work is not too unusual for Hogwarts.

Winry stumbled into the Great Hall - she'd been in the Room of Requirement working on her automail again, and as such had missed the original round up. She wsa bone-tired and confused, and had been looking forward to collapsing onto her nice, soft bed only to find out all students were being directed to the Great Hall.

She slumped against the door once she was in there and grumbled under her breath a little, eyes closed.

Iroh noticed Winry slowly slump into the hall. While still maintaining a close eye on the entire population in front of him, Iroh came to Winry's side and helped her stand straight while still leaning against the wall. "Easy...are you okay, Winry? You look ill, more than the rest of the students."

"Hmm?" Winry took a moment before opening her eyes. "O-oh, Professor Iroh!" She gave him a tired smile. "N-o, I'm fine," she replied, a yawn punctuating her words. "Just tired. Been working on automail. Runes," she added. "I've been experimenting. It's hard, because I don't have that much experience with them." She yawned again. "Wh-at's going on?"

Rangiku was not happy. She's barely gotten out of the bath when she heard about what was going on, and right now she was hardly best dressed for this kind of thing, barefoot and in hastily thrown on robes (her nightgown, even better), with her hair still damp. At least she'd managed to heard all the Hufflepuffs - even the uncooperative ones - down to the Great Hall, and she was on alert, carefully scanning the room.

The clothes thing just made it more uncomfortable.

"Couldn't this have happened before my bath?" she asked no-one in particular.

"Che. Hogwarts gets like that." Ichigo walked over to his Head of House, arms crossed and scowl even deeper than usual. "Oi, Professor, what's going on?"

She knew that voice anyway. "Kurosaki," the Charms professor said with a smile, albeit a slightly tired one. "No one really knows." Glancing around a little to keep an eye on the mass of students, she sighed. "Don't you worry though. Well take care of it, okay?"

Ichigo grunted slightly, scanning the masses of students. Nothing. "...you didn't see Inoue when you were clearing everyone out, did you?" he asked, oddly quiet for the black look on his face. A younger student shied away from the dark glare on his face.
