"Slumber parties mean one thing," he announced to the air, "Pillow fights!"
With that he unceremoniously clocked his neighbor over the head with his pillow.

He grinned, grabbed his own pillow and swung it round to try and smack Tommy in the face.
Odds were, someone else would have gotten caught in the crossfire, but Ikkaku didn't notice. "YA GONNA PAY FER THAT!" He wasn't mad. Just excited.
Reply
"Not if I get you first!" he shouted, swinging wildly at Ikkaku and anyone else within range. Hopefully he could start a riot before the professors interfered.

"Hey!" he protested, pushing himself back up into a sitting position. Further protests died on his lips as he took in the situation, a wide grin replacing them. "Pillow fight!" he agreed happily, grabbing his own weapon and attacking in earnest.

Wand in hand, he took up a position next to the main doors. While the subject he taught did not involve any practical magic, that had no bearing on Byakuya's skill as a wizard.

"Kuchiki, right?" June inquired as she turned her head to look past Byakuya's hair and into his eyes. She smirked at him, waiting for a reply.
Reply
"Indeed," he replied flatly. "You are the gamekeeper." It was not a question.

...Perhaps lack of sleep was dulling his senses. This corner was not uninhabited.
Still, it was too much effort to find another corner.
Thus.
Shikamaru sat down beside the boy in the corner, resting his back against the wall without speaking, closing his eyes.

He blamed that when responding.
"Hey."
He subsided into silence immediately thereafter -- he was no good at starting conversations.

Haruhi was pretty sure it was aliens; though the gaint spiders in the forest were probably also a pretty safe bet.
But between her and the excitement, the teachers and staff were blocking the doors! As though they wanted to keep the fun away from the students! It really just wasn't fair.
She would have to sneak past one of them while they weren't looking...
Chosing her target, Haruhi settled on the new flying instructor (who looked very interesting in and of himself, with that gigantic scar on his face...). Attempting to be inconspicuous, she waited until the was looking the other way to try and get past him through the door...

"Sleeping bags are that way," he said mildly.

"It's alright, I'm not looking for sleeping bags..." she began, grinning from ear to ear. "But thank you for the information! I will certainly tell anyone who asks where they are."
She gave him a brighter smile and a thumbs up and continued towards the door.

Someone next to her muttered, "I hope something bad hasn't happened."
She sat up straight and shook her head. No use, Rhyme decided, if she wanted to go back to sleep she would just have to wait until they were allowed back in the dorms. As for now, conversation was always a good way to pass time, and there was one right next to her.
"Hmmm..." she voiced, "What do you think? It must be pretty bad since we're all here, but if it were that bad, there would probably be a full-scale evacuation." As usual, Rhyme was thinking quite logically about this. "Luck favors the prepared," she stated.

Almaz winced as the girl sat up so suddenly. Oops. He really shouldn't have said anything. But maybe she'd been awake the entire time, since she didn't seem to look or sound that tired. Actually, she seemed pretty smart for being so young.
"I'm not really sure," he replied, looking to see what everyone else was doing. No one seemed too panicked, even if the teachers looked to be a little bit more on their guard than usual--but, then again, that was to be expected with the circumstances. He shifted in place. Maybe everyone else was doing okay, but he couldn't help but feel more than a little nervous about everything that was going on. "But you've got a point. And even if it is bad, the teachers should be able to take whoever it was, right?" He laughed quietly, nervously. He hoped so.
"And, um, sorry for waking you up. I didn't mean to."
