Not what they'd had in mind for the night

Notes: Explanation is HERE. Please read it all! And friend the journal if you haven't already. - This log will be in party style. Someone starts a thread and someone else replies. Don't forget that staff will be wandering around and keeping an eye on the students and the exits. Also, since the staff will be there all night, more than one person can reply to a stationed staff member, making different threads under the member. For instance, if two people want to talk to Ashe at different times, they could both reply to her comment instead of each other, if that makes sense.
The figure had caused quite an uproar among the staff, though they stealthily began to gather the students. Professors and prefects alike wandered the halls and dorms together in pairs to be sure of safety and that no one was left behind. Each Head of House, or a professor, would have a list and be able to tell if someone was missing. The Great Hall's normal tables were moved and in their place rested bed rolls and pillows, things to make the students comfortable since they'd been evacuated so quickly. Anyone on the grounds was immediately brought inside as well.
A professor would be stationed at every door, watching in turns to be sure none of the students exited or go lost. They couldn't afford to let any be in danger. Other professors would wander the Hall, to tend to any of the students' needs and be sure they were all peaceful. No one would be allowed to leave until morning. It was going to be a long, long night.
