Dave Filoni, when announcing that season 4 of Rebels would be its last, said this "We all felt that the time was right, and that the characters were at a point where their story, and their destinies, should finally be revealed."

With the ramp up to the finale, even the recruitment chapter (14) was part of the overarcing plot, with the Outlander enlisting the help of the Mandalorians to capture GEMINI Prime, key to understanding the GEMINI ship captains of the Eternal Fleet. So one of the more shocking things (if not the most) about the season 2 finale of Star Wars Rebels was Kanan being blinded. Finished off a few chapters of Fallen Empire on both my Knight and Agent. Chapters 10 and 11 returned Kaliyo (Agent companion) and Jorgan (Trooper) and introduced the GEMINI Frequency, which is what Arcann uses to control the Eternal Fleet. Maybe it's because of the more cinematic presentation, but one thing I noticed in Fallen Empire was the increased crew interaction. It really brought me back to the days of Mass Effect, when I'd catch Garrus and Tali chatting over the Normandy's intercom, or the squad bickering during a mission, or the hilarity of the Citadel party. Just finished playing the first 9 chapters of the new Fallen Empire expansion, on a Light Side Jedi Knight and a Dark leaning Imperial Agent. Presentation wise, the game hews very close to the cinematic feel of Mass Effect, even more so than the base game or previous expansions.
