Maybe it's because of the more cinematic presentation, but one thing I noticed in Fallen Empire was the increased crew interaction. After the gloom and angst of ME3's main campaign, the Citadel DLC was definitely a breath of fresh air, and a beautiful swan song for the series. Chronologically, it's a little odd.
