I had jury duty today, and I was selected to sit on a jury. This is the third time in the last year or so that I have drawn jury duty. I know you are supposed to be excused for like two years after you've gotten jury duty, but that is only true for that kind of court system. I learned the name of Timmy's disability yesterday. He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (commonly referred to as CH cats). It is a neurological disability that happens for various reasons, but is often a result of a mama cat contracting distemper while pregnant. I swear, trying to be a healthy eater sometimes feels like an exercise in futility. I don't believe in diets, but I take nutrition seriously. I believe in eating a wide variety of foods, with a heavy emphasis on fruits and vegetables and whole grains and legumes and low fat protein sources. Recently I read something (might have been here, apologies if it was and I didn't remember it was you) that really resonated with me.
