Can't sleep post
My brain is too full so I'm going to write some of it down in the hope it will help. Also haven't posted in ages so this can be an update of sorts.
Generally:

An eventful week
On Monday I took my driving test again (see my last entry) and passed. I got a few minor faults for driving a bit slow - I wasn't taking any chances! Back in my own car most of my bad established driver habits returned immediately but I do check my mirrors a bit more which has to be a good thing.

Weekend
I've had a pleasant weekend so I thought I'd do a little update.
Friday I went briefly to the Sal to wish Tim a happy birthday. It was very hot and I wasn't feeling very chatty so I didn't stay long.

Results, handfasting, Tattoo
It's been generally a good week. I took part in Will and Lou's amazing handfasting on Saturday which was a true honour and an excellent day. I've also managed to see Morris dancers twice in one week - a lot more entertaining than you may think ( Read more... ) -
summer, trousers and mess.
Hurrah! I am finally done with all the social work business for another year. Somehow it always seems a bit of an anti-climax; I've spent the last 2 months fantasising about how nice this day would feel and while it is hurrah-worthy, so far it's fallen slightly short of expectations. Self-indulgent moaning post. You may wish to avoid.
I hate my own stupid high standards. I just got my law assignment result and it wasn't a first. It was three marks off so all is not lost but I know I'll be so disappointed with myself if I don't have a good base (eg a first grade!) for next year. I've snapped my memory stick in half. There's the bit that goes into my computer and the bit which I assume has all my stuff saved on. Is there any hope whatsoever of recovering anything? Could I take it somewhere and get them to have a go for me ( Read more... )
