Results, handfasting, Tattoo
It's been generally a good week. I took part in Will and Lou's amazing handfasting on Saturday which was a true honour and an excellent day. I've also managed to see Morris dancers twice in one week - a lot more entertaining than you may think!
This morning however my 2nd year results were posted on the internet. I got 68.9 and I won't pretend I'm not disappointed but trying to look on the bright side: it's not inconceivable I could still get a first but now I feel like I have ground to make up. Can anyone remember what weight their 2nd year results carried overall towards their final mark. I was under the impression it's 50% on my course but after speaking to a few people this would seem unusual. I can't remember ever actually being told it's 50% and can't find any info online so I'll have to do some emailing but I think the course leader is on holiday at the minute.
I have some more nice things to look forward to this week so can salve my disappointment a little. I'm going to go to pick up a parcel from the post office this morning, am hoping it's my VW Elizabeth T-shirt. I fucking love Elizabeth I. She will definitely be part of my other thigh piece when the current one is finished. I have 3 hours booked in tomorrow afternoon to work on the current one. I really hope we can get the flamingo started. On Friday morning I have a hospital appointment, this may sound unexciting but with the tattoo work it means Thursday and Friday will be half days at work. Hurrah.
Oh and I plan on having a raw food only week next week. I'm hoping I can incorporate some of the stuff into my diet long term and I'm quite excited about it. Maybe it will give me extra brain power next year!
