A few months ago I was glibly using the internet on my phone (when I didn't have normal access) and it cost me a hell of a lot of money that I couldn't afford. I'm pretty ashamed of being so naive!

Oh no, I imagine it was awful when you got the bill. When I was a teenager I ran up a £500 bill on dial-up internet. My Dad had to pay and I felt really guilty. I think my stupidity wins but thanks for sharing, it's nice to know others make silly mistakes with consequences too.

Now we're onto the serious stuff! You may win - I bet dealing with the consequences was unpleasant. Do you regret it or are you more of a philosophical "I am the sum of my experiences" (therefore no-regrets) type?

By the way, hi and welcome to my journal which I neglect horribly, usually until I need information or to be made to feel better by LJ friends! I enjoy reading yours. x

Eek! Oh well Ik'm sure it will be fine. I must admit most things I can cope with, writing reports, keyworking, etc. But simple things like food shopping can induce panic attacks, making telephone calls to complete strangers worries me terribly and I normally have to have some sort of script or have practised what I'm going to say before hand, etc, etc.

We're having some people round on saturday if you fancied coming?

Thanks, you're probably right.

I have plans for tomorrow but not sure whether they're still happening - if i find out not will give you a call. Thanks for the invite because I really would love to catch up with you, if not tomorrow then soon! x
