I've had a pleasant weekend so I thought I'd do a little update.

Friday I went briefly to the Sal to wish Tim a happy birthday. It was very hot and I wasn't feeling very chatty so I didn't stay long.

Saturday saw me being an old lady. I'd wanted to go into town and maybe arrange to meet friends but in the end I decided on a trip to Homebase to get ( Read more... )

Was good to see you out at Kreepers, you looked pretty as always! It was a fun night , I now have quiff envy and want to learn swing dancing!

It was terrific to see you out, and being brave enough to dance while there was wrecking going on around us! It was all quite exciting ;)

There is talk of some of us doing swing classes soon if you're interested. So far it's me, Polo, Graham, Grianne (I always spell her name wrong!), Adam and Jill who fancy going so it could be a fun crowd. We have a couple of hours at Kreepers when the rockabilly stuff gets played where it's safe to swing and jive before the psychobilly wrecking pit starts up!

I've ordered stuff from Bathing Cat before - she was friendly and helpful and posted my stuff out quickly. I've never ordered from Ling Lam, but apparently that's where a lot of American lolitas get their footwear from.

Sorry, I'm off this Friday but I'm shopping with my mum or it would have been fabulous to meet up. Saw Lucie at the weekend and suggested that a girls/cocktail night ought to be arranged - haven't seen you, her, Rachael, Kate and a few others for too long!
