Froggy
I lost my voice. Very suddenly! I woke up this morning with a sore throat and by midday was sounding very froggy, and now my voice is pretty much gone. Early stages of a cold? Unclear. 30th Anniversary of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens
I meant to post about this last week, but forgot... My dad emailed me a link to some pictures today that reminded me, and I have to share! The eruption of Mt. Assortment
1. Today was gray and drizzly and should have been "blah" but I love it because it reminds me of Seattle, which I'm missing more and more lately. Plus, the weekend was perfect, sunny, and gorgeous and I was able to sit at the park in the sun and do some writing yesterday, so it can be gray on Monday when I'm stuck at work all it wants. :P

Sweet 16
Just talked to my dad, and our dog is still hanging in there. So she made it to her 16th birthday (today)! She celebrated by having some hamburgers for breakfast and then supervising my dad while he did some yard work, soaking in the sun and breeze and interesting yard smells. :) It sounds like she'll still be around this weekend, which is what ( Read more... ) -

What a crock
Life is good. Yesterday I finished up a huge, obnoxious work project that had been eating up all of my work time AND my free time. I feel a little like I used to after finals -- relieved to be finished and like I just want to put the whole awful experience behind me and revel in having free time again.
