I lost my voice.  Very suddenly!  I woke up this morning with a sore throat and by midday was sounding very froggy, and now my voice is pretty much gone.  Early stages of a cold?  Unclear.  Work has been stressful this week due to one very time-consuming thing I have to file this Friday... it would have dominated my week under any normal ( Read more... )

I just got back from my first business trip in this job.  I went to the alluring destination of... Trenton, New Jersey.  I guess it doesn't have the best reputation and after 24 hours there (consisting of the train station, the hotel, the courthouse, and a restaurant) I can't offer anything to contradict that...  Train stations are never nice ( Read more... )

Hi everyone!

Well, I've had one week of work so far and it's still going well. I realized that this summer is not going to be stressful. For the first time in nearly two years, I'll be able to do a lot more fun stuff than I have previously. What a strange concept!
