I had salmon sushi and egg sushi for the first time yesterday, both foods I am allergic to with no discernable reaction. I weight myself before yoga this morning and my BMI was 24.43, less than it has been in two years. It has been progressively dropping, but now even more so due to changes in my eating patterns. I tend to do poorly in large groups because I do not like raising my voice or interrupting others. The more people present, the more others are simply more inclined to have themselves be heard rather than participate in a genuine, thoughtful discussion. The ones speaking at that point also tend to be the loud, pushy ones who love to grab air time ( Read more... )

I have some difficulty making and growing friendships. I am extroverted by nature and can meet people easily, but creating, growing and maintaining closer connections with people is difficult for me. My life has been different lately. Although 2015 was an unpleasant year it was, as near as I can tell, mostly part of the healing process. I was recently asked to analyze cycles in my life and, as best as I can tell, the cycle may well have been broken.
