The Postpartum Kind of Life
So, today was my first full day at home after Kaladin was born. (Sorry if you missed that entry - IDK why it didn't show up in the feed! :( ) We've been mostly OK - no really big issues to worry about, despite his month-early debut. Birth Story

Futility
So, after going home from the hospital, we went over to the house of the firends that were taking care of our kids. Jolene had me try sitting with my butt elevated and with hot and warm packs on my belly in hopes of encouraging him to turn. He didn't, though, the stinker ( Read more... ) -
You spin me right round, baby, right round...
... or not.
So, we went up to the hospital for the version this morning, and they got me all prepped, and then the doctor checked me. And guess what? We didn't end up doing the version after all. I'm somewhere between 4-5 CM, completely effaced, and the baby is at like 0 or +1 station - seriously, he's like about to fall out of me!

Should I stay or should I go now...?
If you're friends with me on Facebook then you've probably already read at least the first bit, so sorry about that. I meant to post this in my journal yesterday, but LJ was misbehaving. :p
Anyway. So yesterday at 4AM I woke up to ( TMI pregnancy stuff ) -
22 weeks: Ultrasound & appointment... just barely!
Isn't it crazy how life throws things at you? I woke up this morning thinking it was going to be just a normal day. I had thought my next OB appointment was next Monday - after I lost the appointment card, I called the office to find out when it was and that's what I was told. Last Day of School: ARG!
I know, you're probably thinking I'm "ARG!"-ing at the fact that I'll have the girls home all day every day for the next 3 months. While that is daunting, I'm rather more consternated by the follow-up meeting we just had with the girls' teacher & principal.
