The next step
So, I had my doctor's appointment today, and I feel so much better about life now!
She checked me internally, and I was dilated to a 4 (up from 3 on Wednesday). I dunno if it was the walking I did yesterday or if my body was going to do that anyways, but it was welcome news. She said that since I had advanced from 0 to 3 in a week, and from 3 to 4 in two days, she definitely agrees that this baby is coming soon. (She also said she didn't think I was crazy for thinking my water had partially broken on Wednesday, even though she still couldn't find any evidence, heh.)
Unfortunately, the baby is still breech, and not the good kind of breech where it's his butt on my cervix - she felt a little foot as she was doing the exam. She really wants me to be able to VBAC again after I was successful last time, so she's scheduled me for an external version on Sunday. That basically means she's going to try to manipulate my belly and push the baby into flipping. I hope they give me an epidural or something, haha. There's a good chance it will trigger labor, which is why they usually wait til 37 weeks to do this procedure, but if my body's getting all set for it anyways, then we might as well.
Also, maybe it was just an oversight, but I thought it kind of telling that she didn't even bother to give me the paper to reschedule my next week's appointment, haha.
Anyway! Sunday, 10AM, is my procedure - wish me luck!
(PS: A bit of trivia - I went into labor with both Rigel and the girls at the full moon. Monday is the next full moon. Looks as if I'll be 3 for 3, amirite?)
