How your baby's growing:
Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long - the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.
How I'm feeling: Well, I was doing great for awhile, but I think I got some kind of stomach bug this week, because I got sick again on Tuesday. That combined with some other problems got me super dehydrated, and that meant that my uterus started acting up. It wasn't too bad on Tuesday, but it was really painful on Wednesday - I had to spend a good deal of the day lying down. :(
I'm feeling kind of nervous about all the cramping issues that I've had so far - I'm afraid it means I'll be having lots of issues with pre-term labor this time. I mean, it's not just the dehydration - I've had cramping problems from sex, and from just spending the afternoon walking around. I feel like the only way to feel normal is to just sit still and chug water all day, which is frustrating - especially if I'm going to have the girls home all summer now. :S
