This last week has been a busy one with the focus having been work. As you might expect, being winter and working on a respiratory unit, our workload increases with any number of breathing conditions. Summer continues and with that comes the relentless heat. Here in Brisbane we haven't had it as hot as some other places; S.Australia, parts of Victoria and NSW have had 40's. It seems that at this time of year people are just a little bit out of sorts. Summer is progressing, the schools are still on holiday. With everything going on at this time of year I totally forgot to make a post about Proclamation Day here in Queensland. This year was significant as it was 150 years ago on December 10th when there was the historic reading of the Letters Patent.
