Summer continues and with that comes the relentless heat. Here in Brisbane we haven't had it as hot as some other places; S.Australia, parts of Victoria and NSW have had 40's. 56 degrees?!! That's madness. We've been mid to high 30s the last few days and it's 39-40 today, with tomorrow set to be early 40s. Wouldn't be so bad if there was a wind but the air is largely still which makes for pretty unpleasant days!

Yes well that temperature was radiant heat from the granite! Absolute madness I can tell you. But city heat is always more especially when there is stone and concrete all around, isn't it? Meanwhile it's generally about mid 30's here and getting humid again. UGH!

You live in such a beautiful city. I'm sorry about the heat, but before too much longer it will be summer in the northern hempishpere and we'll bake the same way you are right now!

I will admit that Brisbane is a lovely city...(well, I like it a lot)! As my adopted home I love it here. I just wish it was a little cooler right now.

Thanks John...This square isn't as nice as it used to be. This modern architecture dates very easily and before long they will be spending milions again to modernise it!
