Summer continues and with that comes the relentless heat. Here in Brisbane we haven't had it as hot as some other places; S.Australia, parts of Victoria and NSW have had 40's. On my wanderings the other week I found myself in the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA). The gallery opened in 2006 at a cost of $290 million. The gallery's driving philosophy is to connect art and people. They certainly managed to do that with this amazing piece of art called 'In Bed" by Melbourne artist Ron Mueck. Just the other week I posted about the purple haze of jacarandas in the city, and how the new tunnel that is being built under the city has large air vents soaring skyward. A few previous posts ago I mentioned the beautiful jacaranda trees that have been gracing the city over the last month. I've been having problems with my reversing sensors on my car. I put the car into reverse and the sensor thinks there is an object behind me when in fact, all is clear.
