Scarlet Air

Nov 04, 2009 20:14

Just the other week I posted about the purple haze of jacarandas in the city, and how the new tunnel that is being built under the city has large air vents soaring skyward. At one end of the tunnel the outer shell of the air vent is purple to match the trees. The other end of the tunnel has a red air vent to fall in line with the beautiful poincianas which are just flowering and have taken over from the jacarandas. These are one of my favourite trees.
