I have been off work these last 2 days. I am rarely sick, but I just couldn't manage to go in yesterday. I woke up almost unable to move my head without terrible pain in my neck and right shoulder. Finally I have had some free time to get out and play with my new camera...my Nikon D5000. It will take a little bit of getting used to, but so far, so good. The rain stopped long enough to be able to take a short walk around the Botanical gardens at Mount Coot-tha.

Last week was a very busy one and I haven't had much chance to post anything. The weather has been very wet and we have had fantastic flows into our dams. Just a few years ago we were down to something like 16% combined water totals and today we are over 85%. I'm not happy! I think my camera has died. I was on my balcony earlier this afternoon snapping away and it stopped working.
