It is always fun when I actually get to meet people that I have made contact with on lj, whether they be from near or far. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting up with the lovely Dan danlmarmot who is visiting from San Diego. All the photos are great, but that water lilly in particular is fantastic.

Thanks Matt...it came out really well, as did the other pics. But I have to admit I do like the waterlily a lot.

Well, we have just had some of the best rainfall in many years here and everywhere has 'greened' up beautifully. To think that 2 years ago we had combined dam levels of about 15% and now it's just over 97%...no wonder we are looking so lush and tropical.
