The timing couldn't have been worse. I woke up Thursday morning with aches and pains all over. Apparently, my body hadn't received the memo that I had a ticket to see Bright Light Bright Light that same evening. I had a close call Friday morning.

I woke up and immediately felt... something... in my mouth. I was still groggy, and so I instinctively swallowed. Big mistake. My throat muscles immediately began to spasm and simply wouldn't release. Looking back, I'd estimate that my trachea was about 90% blocked. It made it nearly impossible to get any ( Read more... )
