I had an OK 4th of July. I didn't feel like fireworks and (fortunately) neither did Chris (I would have gone if he'd wanted to go). I tried to write in the AM and couldn't concentrate so I cleaned house and then took a nap. We went to see Rattatouille which is wonderful. Well, he's gone. Chris and I figured out we were both checking on him every so often to make sure he was still alive. He was almost too weak to stand and the hydration treatments were only helping a little. In fact I think the 2nd or 3rd one we gave him actually hurt him somehow. She's 12! We had the family party last Sunday, but I had one more present for her and we went out to dinner and to a drumming circle. We had a nice talk at dinner. She's becoming a very mature conversationalist, old beyond her years. It would tug at my heart less if she did not remind me of myself at her age.
