Halfway through the book I was ready to come and write a really angry post. Decided to finish it first, and now I just feel kind of drained and moody. It's not that it was bad per se, just that people wiser than me were right and GRRM clearly cannot conceive of competent women. Game of Thrones episode 4
Pretty in love with the show. I think each episode is better than the last. I'm definitely convinced that the crew behind it know and love this universe, and don't just want to commandeer it for their own purposes.
Nice introduction of Sam, and it got me thinking about...

Has anyone looked at the casting for the HBO Song of Ice and Fire pilot? It's shockingly GOOD. Like, Sean Bean good. There are tiny flutters of hope in my heart.
Although hope for the book series to be finished in my lifetime is long dead. Eff you GRRM.
