I think the good is definitely outweighing the bad. And even the bad isn't really BAD, it's just kind of mediocre. The Hound disappointed me. I didn't find him scary at all. And the Hound is one of my faves. :( Maybe he'll get better with more screen time.
Sansa's reaction to Lady's execution was also kind of underwhelming, like when Dany got her silver. These really pivotal character moments just don't translate to screen very well, do they? Sansa losing her wolf is so critical to her development, not to mention hugely symbolic. Kind of lost.
I think the scene with Summer killing the assassin is the first time I've excitedly anticipated watching violence. And Nymeria attacking Joff, so awesome. But I don't remember seeing Ghost at all in the episode. I want more wolves! Difficult working with animals, I guess.
Robert and Ned together were just wonderful, as was Tyrion's conversation with Jon Snow.
But Viserys few seconds of screen time were still the highlight of the entire episode for me. OMG <3 I can't believe he's going to die. He's everything a Targaryen should be. Can we just make him take over Dany's role too?
Has anyone watched the TV series Camelot? I think I'm going to try it. Next week, after semester is over.
