Pretty in love with the show. I think each episode is better than the last. I'm definitely convinced that the crew behind it know and love this universe, and don't just want to commandeer it for their own purposes.

Nice introduction of Sam, and it got me thinking about...

One of Jon Snow's best moments is when he argues with the Old Bear about Sam's worth to the Night's Watch, precisely because I imagine Westerosi society places an inordinate amount of worth on a man's fighting ability.

I'm very curious to see what Bran's fate is going to be, and also Arya's. Certainly Arya's life hasn't been improved by her learning how to kill efficiently.

Hmmm not directly improved I guess, but she's definitely in a better situation than she was before. The whole Faceless Man (Faceless People?) ideology is pretty interesting, although I don't think Arya really buys into it yet. Really liked the little tidbit about old Valyria too, hope we get more backstory like that in the next book.

We'll know the answer in less than two weeks! It's hard to believe that the next book is FINALLY coming out. Maybe this series will get a proper ending after all?! (I'd pretty much given up hope.)
