well i actually have news for once.

phone rang this afternoon, it's my sis's cell number. omg she actually called me with news.
she had just finished talking with mom's doctor...
she's cancer free. 
i'm actually kinda happy to hear that. but more over...someone actually called me to let me know.

 i haven't really had much to say so that's why i've been so quiet. *if anyone's noticed*

meaning either she's awake and being her normal stubborn self
or she's fighting with them even in a coma. *picking at tubes and such* i.e. being stubborn.

she's still in the hospital. of course the usual way i find out is to call myself. cause i guess they just can't be bothered to let me know what the hell is going on.

she's having a lot of trouble. and all i can think is "yep of course she is. that's normal for her." she talks the talk, but can't walk the walk, just like the rest of that ( Read more... )

mom update:

she's in the hospital, the chemo and radiation therapy are taking their toll. she's doing ok relatively speaking, they're putting in a feeding tube, i don't see a great outcome to this.  her face is swollen and she has burn like things in her throat.

this is something that has been a source of mild aggravation for a number of years. it's a religious problem. now fact is i'm agnostic after years of being forced to attend church after church and seeing the mass hypocrisy that is rife in nearly all religious sects i got fed up with the whole thing and said fuuuu on religion in general.
