Mom called me while she was on her way to work this morning.
"I just wanted to warn you, there's a toilet plunger in the middle of the road. So be careful, because apparently there's an injured dalek somewhere around."

So you know how when they want a wig to be extra floofy, they put lots of short hair in it to make the longer hair stand up?
You didn't know that? You do now.
Right. So a few months back, due to a medication change, my hair started falling out quite alarmingly, resulting in a drastic haircut and donation. Now, much of that hair has grown back in. ( Read more... ) -

Made Champagne Risotto for dinner. Mmmmm, now that's what I call comfort food!
Only one problem. Recipe only used one cup of champagne, now what to do with the rest of the bottle? -

Finally watched Inception. Fell asleep halfway through. Had very strange dreams.
About to give it another go, but everything is difficult as I am currently in heavy training for the Sleep Olympics. I expect I'm a shoe-in for the Gold. And the Silver. Possibly also the Bronze. My sleep skillz are unparalleled. Not only have I perfected the art of ( Read more... ) -

May have more to say later, but for now let me say this about the Doctor Who Christmas special.
Things like plot, character development, set design and costumes- all of these are important. But the most important criteria for an episode, for me, is how it leaves me feeling. Stories that leave me feeling happy and uplifted will always be favorites. ( Read more... ) -
