Holy snap, I'm glad you're okay. I have literally been going to work and back, thanks to people driving me. I am over snow. Unless I'm 5, it's no good. Give me some Doctor Who instead. ;)

Yeah, we went out to a restaurant up the street today and all was well leaving and stuff. Then to get back home, we need to turn left on a large road and there is a turn lane. But the turn lane hadn't been treated at all and there was surprise black ice! YAY! AAAH! I wasn't even driving; if I had been, there would've been about 900% more freaking out on my part. Yes, let's all stay in until spring...or at least until Hothlanta finally melts out :(

Scary! I've spun out in traffic before (and managed to get out okay) and I had to just pull up in an empty driveway and sob for about ten minutes afterwards. Ice is NOT fun. Poor baby!

See, your instinct to hibernate was a good one.

So sorry this happened to you! *hugs*

We were caught in the beginning of the snow storm at my place, to get my cat and do some grocery shopping. The drive back to the Prof's place which usually takes 30-40 minutes, took a couple of hours, I think. Not good.
