sleep is good

Finally watched Inception. Fell asleep halfway through. Had very strange dreams.

About to give it another go, but everything is difficult as I am currently in heavy training for the Sleep Olympics. I expect I'm a shoe-in for the Gold. And the Silver. Possibly also the Bronze. My sleep skillz are unparalleled. Not only have I perfected the art of sleeping anywhere, anytime, for 18 hours at a stretch - but my newfound ability to remove the pillowcases without ever breaking REM sleep should improve my Artistic Expression score. I was already the only sleep artist I knew of who removes the top sheet (even when it is thoroughly tucked in), flings it across the room, all without disturbing the bottom sheet or mussing the pile of blankets. Why? I dunno. But that's got to be a marketable skill somewhere.

The worst part is that even when I'm asleep, all I dream about is being tired. That's just not fair.

My previously unrealized bear heritage may be coming into play, as this urge to hibernate is difficult to resist- the current snowpocalypse isn't helping.

Speaking of which... bundled up and took pictures, as we haven't seen this much snow in many years. About 5 inches here. Gadzooks! Egads, even!

Put some birdseed on the back porch, couldn't get pics of the birds since they fly off every time I try, but lookit the tiny birdie footprints! Are they not terribly sweet? Like some ridiculously eccentric lace pattern.

End of our street. There's a creek, but this was as far as I could get safely. There's a ditch to cross and I couldn't tell where it was with all the snow!

My apologies, I haven't checked my flist in... weeks, probably. But now that I've made even less sense than usual, I going back to bed.
