I just had to share the news!  I've been hired for a maternity leave job, starting Monday, as a grade one teacher!  I'll be teaching the grade one class from Monday until school ends on June 30th -- and hopefully I'll be hired back again for September as well (since teacher's get a one-year maternity leave, so they'll need to hire someone from ( Read more... )

I've had the nicest weekend!! Melanie came over yesterday to visit and have a swim in my backyard pool. Mind you, it was pretty cloudy while she was visiting, but we still had a great time! Well, it finally began! Last week I had my first two days of Teacher's College. It was mostly just some orientation seminars, and some training sessions for our new laptops, but I loved every second!
