True Blood Premiere Night!
I've had the nicest weekend!! Melanie came over yesterday to visit and have a swim in my backyard pool. Mind you, it was pretty cloudy while she was visiting, but we still had a great time! Today it was gorgeously sunny, so I spent the entire afternoon reading by my pool, tanning, and then having a really nice swim (did some laps for exercise). A perfect Sunday afternoon!
I'm very excited because tonight is the premiere of season two of True Blood. Do any of you watch it? It's AWESOME. I've read all of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse book series (except for the newest book in the series, since I can't afford it hard-cover so I'm going to wait a bit to buy it). I love the series a lot, and the first season of the TV show was awesome. I love that it's on HBO, because the quality of each episode is just so much better than if it was on a standard station. Being HBO, it's pretty sultry and violent and all that, but I love the characters a lot.
Season one was based on the first book in the series, and tonight at 9 season two begins, and I'm very excited to watch and see what they're going to do with book 2.
I totally recommend this one (and the books too, I love them).
