Poland!
Well, friends, I am heading off on Tuesday for My Biggest Trip Ever. I'll be gone for 23 days, in Poland! Wowzers. Martin and I take off on Tuesday night, our flight is at 10:22pm. I get home on July 23rd.
I'm pretty much ready! I just have to physically pack my clothes, but my carry on bag and my toiletries are all ready to go and I know what clothes I'm bringing so there's not much left to do.
I have mixed feelings about my flights. We're flying direct to Warsaw, and it's an 8 hour and 40 minute flight - my longest flight ever. I sort of like flying, so I'm not really overly worried about it (which is so different from how I usually am!), but then every now and then the anticipation of getting on the plane for that long sort of makes me a little anxious.
But I'm just going to try really hard to latch onto that "I actually like flying" mentality, rather than the anxious mentality... since there really is no point in worrying. If I want to do things in life and see things, I might have to fly, might as well just go for it. It's out of my hands!
But if you could just cross your fingers for me that my flight there and back are safe and uneventful, I would very much appreciate it.
I'll check in again upon my return! Woo!
