I'm a Teacher!
I just had to share the news! I've been hired for a maternity leave job, starting Monday, as a grade one teacher! I'll be teaching the grade one class from Monday until school ends on June 30th -- and hopefully I'll be hired back again for September as well (since teacher's get a one-year maternity leave, so they'll need to hire someone from September to March, and hopefully it'll just be me again!).
I've been supply teaching for the past few weeks, but I'm just so excited to already have my own class to teach! I'm really on my way now! And to think, not so long ago I was afraid I wasn't even going to be accepted into teacher's college!
