Today I finally did it. I had so much trouble with the weather; the first two times my cousin and I scheduled it they canceled, but here it finally is.

Normally I tend to think that race, gender, etc shouldn't matter as much as character and qualifications. My long-windedness
I just did a word count on the first two chapters of my Battlestar Galactica fanfic. It's about 14,000 words! As outlined, the first half of the story is 10 chapters. The second half is probably about the same, although the outline for that isn't as definative. Still, that's 70,000 words for the first half of the story! I'm thinking I'm ( Read more... ) -
New Apartment!
I just have to say that I serve an amazing God. Four days ago, I was majorly freaking out about finding a place to live for September. Saturday I went to a Tae Kwon Do tournament. I was lots of fun, even though the only people I really knew were my instructors. And I didn't completely screw up my form in competition, which I thought I might do! In fact, I got first place in sparring and 2nd in forms.
