My long-windedness
I just did a word count on the first two chapters of my Battlestar Galactica fanfic. It's about 14,000 words! As outlined, the first half of the story is 10 chapters. The second half is probably about the same, although the outline for that isn't as definative. Still, that's 70,000 words for the first half of the story! I'm thinking I'm probably going to just have to call the second half the sequel. And I'm thinking that I need to write more often if I have any hope of finishing it before BSG S4.5 airs and then the show is finished and everyone sadly stops caring as much about it.
