I just have to say that I serve an amazing God. Four days ago, I was majorly freaking out about finding a place to live for September. Today my soon to be roommate and I are signing a lease on this awesome townhouse, just a few blocks from where I live now and my current Landlord and her current landlord have given us permission to stay at our ( Read more... )

Timetable? At this point I've lost any sense of a timetable. I mean the first few post were every week, same day, but I've accepted that there is no way I can keep that up. I am trying to spend 30-60 minutes writing every day and be disciplined, rather than just saying up until 3am writing when I get inspired, but we'll see how that goes. So get it back to me when you can, sooner is better, but don't stress over it.

As for issues in part C, maybe check the transitions? I wrote most of this piece by piece in two different notebooks and then typed it up. So the sections might not flow together as well as they should. Other than that, just whatever things you see, I suppose.

Also the Petra/Simon interactions. Because it's one thing to write a fight, but it's always harder (IMO) to write the resolution. Especially when neither of them is the type of person to just come out and say "I was wrong." Ultimately the friendship between those two becomes one of the core elements of the story, so I want the beginning of it, however rocky, to seem authentic.

Well, if all else fails, my sister is graduating in May. So I'll be in Nampa for that. I haven't worked out any of the details at this point, but we should make a point of getting together to hang out.
