On Saturday morning after I got off work I went and signed the lease for the little townhouse in Cary across the street from naiad_kitty.  It's kind of rough around the edges, but it's a huge step up for us. Last week Lou got offered a contract-to-hire position with a video game company named Funcom.  Needless to say, he is super excited.  I think that he's going to be doing something with moderation and resolving player issues.   It's a pretty big deal for both of us.

I'm finished with school. Finished with my registration. The holidays are over. I've been missing from LJ for awhile. Mostly because I've been working my butt off for school. I've been taking 11 credits this term, including my clinical internship where I've been working 30+ hours a week (unpaid) and trying to squeeze in some hours at Old Navy as well to keep myself afloat ( Read more... )

I finally had the first night of my internship at the sleep lab and it went great. I was a bit worried because the director of the center seemed like a real hard ass, but the sleep techs I'm actually working with are extremely laid back.
