I've been missing from LJ for awhile. Mostly because I've been working my butt off for school. I've been taking 11 credits this term, including my clinical internship where I've been working 30+ hours a week (unpaid) and trying to squeeze in some hours at Old Navy as well to keep myself afloat.
Well, the big news is that these exhausting past few months have been worth it. Yesterday I was offered a full time position at the sleep lab I've been interning at. They are going to start me off doing part office work and part lab work and then once I become registered this summer I'm going to be a full time sleep tech.
In other news, Lou and I moved to Raleigh to our own little place. It's was huge relief to get out of that roommate situation. They were really trying to take advantage of us financially and were generally really discourteous to us (like not giving us any space in the kitchen and then getting miffed at us for using their kitchen stuff, wtf). Plus being just generally immature, irresponsible, bigoted and just plain stupid. Whew. Had to get that off my chest.
Anyway, things have been difficult, but I've been happy and I'm relieved that thing will hopefully be less difficult soon.
