I had ordered the Region 2 DVD of The Streets of San Francisco which was billed on Play.com as 'Part 1, Season 1'. I had therefore presumed that they were going to follow the Stateside version and put out the seasons in 2 parts, then maybe do a collected season 1. Today did not start out well. I woke up at around 2:30 am with an upset stomach, which the cats kept jumping on. Finally, after playing around on the Internets for a while, I unplugged the laptop and tried to listen to the radio. Suddenly, both the bedside light and the radio went out, though the main light was still on.

Just watched The Host, the well-reviewed Korean monster movie on DVD. Great fun! Extremely disfunctional but loving family (think a sort of Korean Simpsons) fight monster-from-the -polluted-river and the perfidious Korean and US establishments.
