Am watching this really crap Danny Boyle movie. There are so many things wrong with this that I cannot, really, begin to list them...
But let us start with the idea that if you are going to send people on a suicide mission to save the world you pick people who know they are on a suicide mission to save the world. You also pick people with a tad of discipline. You also have someone check calculations - not to mention have the computer check calculations.
The having an visionary experience and meeting God was old when Arthur Clarke/Kubrick did it in 2001.
The visuals are nice, but the sound is a mess.
As for the pacing - spare me!
