Aaron received his orders last night/this morning, essentially while we slept. We are definately moving to Kuwait. I'm hoping that this move will be a motivator for me to be better about updating my journal. I'd like a record of this experience for Philip.

diaper rash
So I'm thankful for the tags which have been able to help me find several good treatments and causes of diaper rash. My son is having a major outbreak which could be linked to some of the new foods I've introduced, but I'm also beginning to wonder if he's developing a reaction to his diaper cream. Aaron and I have gotten in the habit of taking Philip out at least once on a week night. We take turns each week between visiting a local fish place that has live Blue Grass Music and taking Philip to one of the Farmers' Markets in the area. Tried to post this last week
I never would have guessed that being sick was such a part of parenthood. I'd assumed that I had met my requisite number of illnesses in my 1st few years of teaching. Sadly I was wrong. Writer's Block: When I Was Young
It's funny. I most miss being able to spend so much time just playing and reading. I say this is funny, because I in fact still have a lot of time to play and read, both for myself and with Philip. Great Birthday!

New Friends, Communism, & Personal Questions
In my mommy class I've begun to make some new friends. One woman was also with me in my pre-natal massage class/program, hospital birth class, and we had the same doula. I think Philip may have actually lost weight, just a few ounces, it that's possible. He's definately going through a growth spurt though. He's eating a frequently and vigorously every time. He's gained 2 oz in a month, but his head looks much bigger and I think he's longer. Oh well, I won't worry yet, his growth is supposed to plateau and I ( Read more... )
