It's funny. I most miss being able to spend so much time just playing and reading. I say this is funny, because I in fact still have a lot of time to play and read, both for myself and with Philip. So I guess what I really miss is the freedom of playing without actually having other things stewing in the background of my mind. I miss being

I was reading this and trying to remember when play stopped being 'play' and started being just a brief time out in life. I think it may have started with those pesky children of mine. ;-)
I think that's why I love going to Vegas. When I'm reading or making jewelry or just playing on the computer at home, I can always see (or at least know) something that I should/could be doing. When I'm in Vegas, I can't look up and see the dust on the TV and I can't look out the window and see the grass that needs to be mowed.
I'm taking Natascha with me to Vegas is August. I know we'll have fun but in the back of my mind I'm already missing how completely carefree I can be there and how I totally play.
