Yay! The Convention insanity is finally over. In two months I had four events, each with its own costuming requirements. I can finally take a short break before diving back into the sewing and trying to figure out how to use my new surger.

Wig group order?
So it looks like Arda-wigs may be having a sale soon (when they reach 4000 likes on their facebook account). When this happens I'll be ordering a few things. Would anyone like to go in on a group order and save on cross border shipping? -
Toronto Cosplay Picnic Recap and End of Summer Plans
As per previous entry, I finally made it to the Toronto Cosplay Picnic after seven years of saying that I should.

Toronto Fun Times
So... it looks like this is the year it's finally going to happen... I'll actually be attending the Toronto Island Picnic. Woot! It's only taken me 8 years of saying I'll go to actually make it.

Anime North 2011 Recap

WIP: Delphine hit and run
I'm on a quick sanity break before heading back to the machine to keep working on this thing.
I have 32 hours before I leave for Ad Astra and I'm hoping not to have to bring my sewing machine with me.
Have some quick photos of what's been done so far. Once back from the con, I'll do a proper construction post, but here's some bits and pieces.

WIP: Delphine shoes and dying fun
So, as per usual, I'm horribly behind on costuming and on Delphine in particular. I had all these wonderful timelines and plans and then February went poof. I honestly have no idea what happened to most of February.

While procrastinating on projects for myself over the holidays, I made a couple of presents for friends. Now that they have arrived with their new owners and I have pictures allow for me to present them:

Midnight Bakery
Well... costuming hasn't really progressed at all since I last posted. I now have my red fabric (heavy dull satin) for Delpine which I manage to grab at just over 50% off. Which makes me happy as I may need 7m of it. Or I may need 5m of it and will be looking at getting rid of extra fabric once I'm done. (On that note, if there's any fabric ( Read more... )
