Toronto Fun Times

So... it looks like this is the year it's finally going to happen... I'll actually be attending the Toronto Island Picnic. Woot! It's only taken me 8 years of saying I'll go to actually make it.

I'll be taking the train in (hopefully. I still need to book the ticket, which will happen this weekend), and arriving around 11:15 at Union Station. ( Read more... )

If you're convcerned about getting lost, I'm willing to meet you at Union to head down to the Island ^^

My main issue would be locating people on the island, but I figure it can't be that big. (As the directions out of Union are head downhill until you hit the waterfront and then find the terminal, I figure I can't get too lost there.)

Tho if you're planning on heading down a little later than the 10:30-11:00am meet-up mentioned on the website, I'll gladly accept the company. But don't delay your arrival just for my sake. =)

I'm definitely going to be showing up a little later - it always takes me forever to get ready for these things. So you wouldn't be holding me up at all ^_^

Well, in that case, I'd definitely appreciate the company to the island. Pick a landmark at Union and we'll meet there for 11:30?

I'd like to go but trying to decide what to wear, since most of the costumes I need pics of aren't really suited to hauling out on a ferry.

There will be cupcakes... you know you want some.

And I hear you with the can't decide what to wear. Part of the reason I making this current outfit is that--other than Paprika--none of my costumes are good for wearing on a train or to a picnic. (And as much as I love Paprika, she's fairly plain.)
