Clearly, Christians who believe that bad things wouldn't happen if God had a bigger presence have never read the book of Job.

Godly man, considered the most godly man in all the world...has all sorts of horrible shit happen to him.

But bad things happening to us is because we don't have enough God. Yeah...right.

Just wanted to update on Sean's computer job. He got paid for the parts and the labor. I think our friend made a big deal about it, but either way, Sean got the check last week and it definitely cleared. I didn't want to say anything in case he put a stop payment or something on it, but it cleared.

You know, I would love to get more back into LJ, like I used to be years ago. I had resolved to do so. (Like I do every break.) But then I just got my syllabus for for my 4600 HIST class.

As a passionate lover of history, I find myself often fascinated by the psychological aspects of it. The thought processes and emotions that have driven people to behave in a particular manner.
