More Florida Adventures.
So, for anyone who doesn't know, June is 'Hurricane Season' in Florida. Last weekend/previous week was special, and by special, I mean that I didn't see the sun for a full 168 hours. I don't think that's ever happened to me before.
So Tropical Storm Debbie hit it's stride last weekend. Saturday was gonna go to Busch Gardens, but got rained out ( Read more... ) -
Skipped a Few Weekends there... opps.
So as I mentioned in my other journal the Con I was planning on going to this weekend, was actually last weekend, so the previous two weekends were spent entirely working on my costume. Didn't really have anything exciting to say about those weekends, and could spend my time better working on my costume so I didn't post anything :P

Weekend 2
Weekend 2 was kind of a failure. I walked to the dollar store close to my place on saturday. I took a nice long walk down the beach sunday afternoon. That was about it. I made myself a rather delicious omelette for breakfast on saturday, does that count for something ( Read more... ) -
Weekend 1 in Florida
So I've just finished my first week in Florida. So I thought, while I'm some land of pineapples (where pineapples are actually more expensive than in Canada, go figure) I should write a journal on my pineapple's at play LJ. Rain, in January!
A 5 minute walk outside in january should NEVER leave me as soaking wet as I am right now. Ridiculous. And then I go and pop open my emails, and what's on the top of the list but a nice little message from Reliance Home entitled "Beating the winter chill" I don't know where they're living but so called 'Winter chill' hasn't happened yet. So the radio announcer this morning told me that today would be a good day to go fly a kite. I can't decide if that's a) awesome!! or b) asdf#$%DFHsdfa!! It's WINTER!
