Last weekend, Natalie and Judith visited for the Cherry Blossom Festival. We had a great time going to the African Art Museum (not at all crowded), the American History Museum (very crowded), and the Tidal Basin to see the cherry trees (omg so crowded). Pictures are here. Brooke and I saw Young Frankenstein at the Kennedy Center last weekend at it was fun. All the jokes from the movie, plus ridiculous song and dance numbers. While there, I made my next purchase with my Christmas gift certificate, so I will be seeing the Mariinsky Ballet perform Sleeping Beauty in February. Yay, culture ( Read more... )

Zoolights was fun the last two nights, but I forgot to bring my camera. I might ask at the zoo to see if any official pictures were taken. I saw several people with cameras on tripods, but they could just be photo enthusiasts. Saturday night was the only time I didn't sweat through my shirt and bandanna in the panda suit.
